I collaborated with Oliver, the founder of several e-commerce websites listed below, approximately a year ago. My role involved defining their brand voice, establishing their unique style, and crafting compelling website copy. Additionally, I was responsible for writing product descriptions and SEO.

Competitors:

Each of the websites revolved around highly competitive products, competing with major platforms like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, and others.

Requirements:

They sought a native English speaker familiar with Christmas, Halloween, and popular costume characters. Furthermore, they wanted each website to incorporate storytelling elements that highlighted the product’s history, captivating potential buyers.

Solution:

Through extensive research, product analysis, and detailed discussions, I devised wireframes and composed persuasive web copy.

For example, while writing the Grinch Costume copy, I conducted thorough research and creatively integrated everything from Dr. Seuss to memorable Grinch quotes. I highlighted the unique advantages of the products across different age groups, offering suggestions on how parents could surprise their children and make Christmas an unforgettable experience.

Furthermore, keeping SEO in mind, I added comprehensive pages such as “How it Works” and “FAQs” to provide buyers with in-depth information.

Results:

We finally beat many big stores and ranked in the first few on the first page! And their sales took a roller coaster!
